Barbara Dębiec

She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Faculty of Sculpture in Grzegorz Kowalski's Studio. Currently she is a PHD student at the Faculty Of Media Arts under the supervision of professor Włodzimierz Szymański and professor Zbigniew Tomaszczuk.

She is also a graduate student of the Photographic Artist's Association Photography Study Centre. Barbara Dębiec creates her photographs by using several techniques such as: archival photography, photomontage, collage and installation. The subjects of her works are inhomogeneous. She discovers them, as she says "Whilst being with her camera in the right place at the right time".
